Why Aluminium

Light, Strong and Built to Last

Aluminium spans wide openings with a slim frame, never rusts and comes in many colours — and fitted properly, it shuts out dust and rain.

  • Never Rusts

Water and humidity leave it alone — at home on balconies, in kitchens and in bathrooms.

  • Slim Frame, More Glass

Strong enough to keep the frame slim, so a wide opening is light rather than frame.

  • Many Colours

Powder coating in many colours, or anodising in silver and champagne tones.

  • Dust- and Rain-Tight When Fitted Right

EPDM gaskets and tight brushes, an outward-sloping sill and open drainage slots — the details that matter in Sharqia.

  • Everything in Writing

The section, the glass, the colour and the price of every opening are written in the quote before we start.

  • A Written Warranty Certificate

A serial-numbered certificate in your name, handed over at completion.

Profile Sections

Choose the Section to Suit the Opening

The section is the aluminium profile the frame and sashes are made from — its weight and depth decide strength, insulation and price. At the site visit you hold a sample of each.

The Details That Matter a Year On

An aluminium window is judged after its first summer and its first winter. These are the choices we make with you at the site visit — each one priced in the quote.

  • 01

    Single or Double Glazing

Double is two panes with a gap: more insulation from heat and noise. Single is simpler and costs less.

  • Sliding or Casement

    Sliding or Casement

Sliding takes no room; a casement closes onto a gasket on every side, so it keeps dust out better.

  • 03

    Powder Coat or Anodised

Powder coating gives you many colours — white, black, wood effect; anodising is a layer grown in the metal itself, in silver and champagne tones.

  • 04

    EPDM Gaskets & Brushes

EPDM rubber stays supple in the sun, and tight brushes line the track — the first defence against dust and whistling.

  • A Sloped Sill & Drainage

    A Sloped Sill & Drainage

The sill slopes outwards and the drainage slots stay open — so rain and washing water run out instead of in.

  • 06

    Insect Screens & Shutters

Screens on the opening sashes, and a shutter if you need shade and security.

What does aluminium cost per square metre in 2026?

By published market prices (updated October 2026): PS with double glazing runs from about 2,800 to 4,200 EGP per m², and Jumbo from about 3,000 to 4,500 EGP. The price moves with the section, glass, colour, opening system and shutter — the final price follows the site visit and is written in your quote.

What does “metre by metre” mean?

Prices are per square metre: the window’s width times its height. A 120 × 120 cm window, for example, is 1.44 m². In the market very small windows are sometimes charged at a minimum area — in our quote the area charged for every opening is written down, so you know exactly what you are paying for.

Should I choose PS, Jumbo or Tango?

It depends on the size and use of the opening: PS is the most common and suits most home windows; Jumbo is heavier and better for wide openings, balconies and double glazing; Tango sits between them. For a small opening that needs little insulation, Al-Saad is the economy choice. At the site visit we show you a sample of each and suggest the right one for every opening.

Aluminium or UPVC?

Both are good when they are fitted properly. UPVC insulates better against heat and noise and never needs painting. Aluminium is stronger with a slimmer frame, so it spans wider openings, and it comes in more colours. We do both — so we suggest what suits each opening and your budget, without leaning towards either.

Dust gets in through aluminium windows — is there a fix?

Yes — and it is the first question in Sharqia’s desert-edge towns such as 10th of Ramadan and New Salhia. The answer is in the installation, not only the section: EPDM gaskets that stay supple in the sun, tight brushes on the sliding track, an outward-sloping sill and open drainage slots. Where it is very dusty we recommend casement windows, which close onto a gasket on every side.

My window leaks when it rains — why?

Usually the sill does not slope outwards, the drainage slots are blocked, or silicone is hiding a gap in the frame. When we install, we set the sill’s slope and leave the drainage working. If you have an old window that leaks, tell us at the site visit and we will see whether it can be repaired or is better replaced.

Do you make aluminium kitchens?

Yes. Aluminium cabinets are untouched by water and steam, so they suit damp kitchens. If you want a particular look for the fronts we will talk it through at the site visit — and we supply and fit the worktop marble too.

How is a rolling shutter fitted?

A shutter is a curtain of aluminium slats that rolls into a box above the window and runs down side guides. It shuts out light and heat and adds security on ground and first floors. It works by a manual strap or a motor, subject to availability, and can go in with a new window or onto an existing opening once we have seen it at the site visit.

Single or double glazing?

Double glazing is two panes with a gap between them and insulates better against heat and noise — and it needs a section that can carry it, such as Jumbo. Single glazing is one pane, simpler and less costly. We explain the difference and choose with you room by room, and by budget.

What is the difference between powder coat and anodising?

Powder coat is bonded to the section and baked, which gives you many colours: white, black, grey and wood effect. Anodising is a layer formed in the surface of the metal itself, in silver and champagne tones. Colours cost a little more than plain silver — and we show you the samples at the site visit.

How long does installation take?

That is set after the site visit, by the number of openings, the section and the colour — and the handover date is written into your quote before we begin.

What is the warranty?

At handover you receive a written warranty certificate in your name with a serial number — a document you can return to and verify on our website at any time. If you need maintenance later, request it through the Client Portal.
